Moontime Korero - original painting

It is whispered sometimes when the moon is high in the sky, and the stars twinkle brightly, like little flames of warmth, that a princely owl - a small and mighty Ruru who lives in the realm of forest fey and native birds - creates space for the night creatures to meet and converse. What is said between them is yet to be known, but each time these meetings are held, the forests become at peace for a while, and seem to grow more lush and plentiful.
