Inspired by the lyrics of the Beatles song: ‘Mother Nature’s Son’ this painting is a depiction of the beauty of the simple things around us, and a story about taking time to contemplate and connect with nature. The sun is symbolic of life, light, warmth and power as well as hope and renewal. Daisies symbolise innocence, purity, joy and new beginnings. It is often when we experience a deep connection with nature, that we feel these qualities glow within ourselves.
